Last weekend on a road trip through the Olympic Peninsula with a friend I came across these boats “let out to pasture”…. literally.

There’s a recent book called Hemingway’s Boat about his time in Cuba. Evidently his beloved boat, the Pilar, is quite literally rotting away, on blocks near his former home.
Boy would I like to have a photo of that to add to my little collection..
