Gorgona is said to have been stunningly beautiful before the curse…;)
I’ve read many different stories of her. I’ve even painted her. What a lonely existence.
It is lonely for every woman refusing to see the inner snakes 😉
When I was a child (and even a few times when my boys were little) I’d catch snakes just to hold them for a bit. They’d stink up my hands, but were so docile. Not so scary. Neither are the inner ones 😉
I am not so sure about the inner ones…;)
i feel sad whenever i see or read about her..
I am the same way. There are so many accounts, but each one ends with such sadness.
This quote with Medusa’s image made me suddenly feel so sad for her.
A few of us have said that very same thing. For some reason I like to read about her though….the woman who got the short end of the stick for sure.
That’s one of those transformational quotes, that shake you at the root and make you re-think what you had previously thought. Good.
Thank you. Shaking is good. I agree
